Temperament: Coquita was brought into the rescue with her 14 day old puppies. Coquita was found in a place in Tamarindo in poor conditions with the babies out in the hot sun and no water or food. Coquita has shown to be very protective of her babies but when away from them to be quite a lovely girl and no aggressive behavior. She likes to go for walks and is healthy. No other illness was present. Coquita will be spayed when she is ready and is up to date on vaccines.

I am coming to visit Coquita today, to bring her some chicken and take her for a long walk, as I have (almost) every week since I gave her into your care. I like her a lot, and if no one else has adopted her by November, I would like to try to do so. I am waiting until November because my dogs had hookworms and they infected my yard with them, so I want all those worms to die before I bring Coquita onto my property, particularly since I might have to keep her outside if she conflicts with my other dogs, and also it would be better in that case if it were not raining so much.
