Looking to help a dog or a cat? Would you like to assist the rescue and save some lives? Fosters are a critical component to the Halfway Home Rescue, being able to save as many as we can and being successful in finding them their forever homes. We have many opportunities and needs for fosters and we hope you can be a part of the Halfway Home Family and help us with supporting our animals. 

We will provide:

• Medical care, vaccinations, medications, and food.
• If available, we can provide a kennel if needed for transportation.

What do we ask of you?

• Provide adequate shelter and care for the animal in question.
• Send us updates including pictures and information to help us create a good profile for the animal to get it adopted.
• Transport the dog/cat into the clinic for its checkups and necessary appointments.  For puppies they do require vaccinations every 15 days, until they are completed in their schedule.
• Notify us as soon as possible if the animal needs to be returned to the shelter or veterinary office with as much notice as possible. 

Our primary goal is to get the animal adopted so we will work to advertise and share the animal and get it out of your home as quickly as possible. We also hope you do the same and if you decide that the animal is better off with you and you want to adopt it, we do require the adoption fee is paid to cover their medical expenses incurred.
